Advisers’ Sustainability Group (ASG) chair Daniel Godfrey said the current investment management operating model was “not fit for purpose” and needed to shift away from short-term returns.
Godfrey, who leads the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) ASG with vice chair Julia Dreblow, said it was essential that investment management changed its focus to long-term sustainability in order to ensure the planet’s future.
