FTSE 100 Live: UK GDP; Recession, What’s Moving UK Stocks, Pound (GBP/USD)


JD Sports shares have pared their gain somewhat through the morning, though it remains up by around 10%.

That’s not enough for it to escape being one of the three worst performers in the FTSE 100 in the quarter, however. It is outdone by St James’s Place’s 34% slide and a 39% drop for Ocado.

The latter has fallen despite relatively well-received results in the month, but analysts continue to bring up reservations about the strength of its customer fulfilment business — where Ocado licences is robot warehouse technology to other grocers.
