Indian benchmark equity indices fell for the third straight session on Thursday, impacted by Bajaj Auto’s warning of weak festive sales and concerns over high stock valuations amid ongoing foreign fund outflows.
The 30-share BSE Sensex declined by 495 points, or 0.61%, closing at 81,006, while the broader NSE Nifty dropped 221 points, or 0.89%, finishing at 24,749.8. The Nifty50 also hit a two-month low during the session.
