Stock Market Today: Dow ekes out gain, S&P 500 rises as job revisions, Fed minutes point to September rate cut

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 55.52 points, or 0.1%, to close at 40,890.49.

The S&P 500 gained 23.73 points, or 0.4%, to end at 5,620.85.

The Nasdaq Composite advanced 102.05 points, or 0.6%, finishing at 17,918.98,
